Dombrowski, 87, Milwaukee, the sister of two Portage County residents, died Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, at her home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon Saturday at the Basilica of St. Josaphat in Milwaukee. Visitation will be at the Rozga Funeral Home in Milwaukee from 9:30 until 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Memorials would be appreciated in lieu of flowers. Mrs. Dombrowski was born Dec. 15, 1921, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Joe and Johanna Sopa. She was married to Ed Dombrowski on June 21, 1941. He preceded her in death. They settled in Milwaukee. Survivors include six daughters, Marlene ‎(Dennis)‎ Tessenske, Jean Owsianny, Sharon ‎(Mark)‎ Smith, Kathy Truss ‎(Tom Bodi)‎ Bodi, Mary Maher and Linda ‎(Gordie)‎ Hagestad; three sisters, Jeanette Patoka, Amherst, and Emily ‎(Ben)‎ Rashka and Lucy ‎(Art)‎ Baldewicz, both of West Allis; two brothers, Henry Sopa, Stevens Point, and Leonard ‎(Grace)‎ Sopa, Milwaukee; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn A. Rusch; and three brothers, Edwin, Bernard and Zigmond Sopa.
