The funeral of Leon Ostrowski of Polomia ‎(sic)‎ was held this morning under the auspices of Charity court, No. 47. Catholic Order of Foresters of Custer. The service was held at Polonia, Rev. Thomas Grenbowski officiating. The deceased died Monday after a long illness with cancer. He was a farmer, 32 years of age, and leaves a widow and several small children. His brother, Max, proprietor of a hotel at Rhinelander, came down to see his brother before he died and remained to attend the funeral.
